I dont accept the premise that beauty is a prerequisite to social acceptance and happiness
Still you may notice that people that conform to social standards of beauty do have an easier time
Granted when I go out the people around me tend to be unusually attractive
but this is by no choice of mine.
What I find attractive is how they carry themselves.
Do they have confidence, without being conceited.
I find that some people just seem to have an presence.

I found myself wondering if the person that posed this question to me
was commenting on what they perceived to be my motivations
or did they just want more attention from me
